Most modern systems will provide a data import tool that helps immensely with populating a new system with legacy data.  But there are almost always subsystems whose data is just not ready to be converted.  For example, an old system may keep names and addresses in a simplistic format with multiple records per entity.  The new system may need the names and addresses to be linked together so that contacts are connected to the companies with which your firm does business.  Other examples may include inventory records or costing records.

Milltown has a wide range of software development tools at its fingertips and can quickly and cost-effectively create applications that are intuitive for the user and robust so IT doesn't have to divert attention from the system migration.  These apps can permit users familiar with the old data to re-arrange, correct, connect or otherwise prepare for the new system.

These are usually one-shot applications that are discarded once the system migration is complete.
